Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-SCD2-Ex2.LK – SMART current driver

The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-SCD2-Ex2.LK is a 2-channel intrinsically safe current driver designed for controlling SMART field devices in hazardous areas. It is used to drive I/P converters, control valves and positioners while ensuring safe signal transmission between control systems and field devices.

The module supports bidirectional communication, allowing digital protocols such as HART to be transmitted together with analog signals. It also features integrated line fault detection, enabling reliable monitoring of open or short circuits.
