Pilz 774150, designated PZE 9 24VDC 8n/o 1n/c, is a contact expansion module from the Pilz PNOZ safety relay family. It is designed to increase the number of available relay contacts when used together with safety-related control components.
The module operates from a 24 V DC supply and consumes approximately 3.5 W. It provides two inputs and supports single- or dual-channel wiring with or without detection of shorts across contacts. Its relay configuration consists of 8 N/O safety contacts and 1 N/C contact.
For resistive AC-1 loads, the safety contacts are rated up to 240 V AC / 8 A, while DC-1 operation is rated at 24 V DC / 8 A. The relay contacts use AgSnO₂ material with an additional gold layer.
The PZE 9 has a compact DIN-rail-oriented industrial housing measuring 87 × 90 × 121 mm and uses fixed screw terminals. The housing protection rating is IP40, and the specified ambient operating temperature is -10°C to +55°C.
