Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-STC5-Ex2 – SMART transmitter power supply

The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-STC5-Ex2 is a 2-channel intrinsically safe barrier designed for powering and interfacing SMART transmitters in hazardous areas. It supports both 2-wire and 3-wire transmitters, as well as SMART current sources, ensuring flexible integration into process automation systems.

The module safely transfers analog 4–20 mA signals to the control system while allowing bidirectional communication of digital protocols such as HART. It offers both current sink and source output modes, providing additional flexibility for different control system configurations.
