Omron 3G3MX2-A4022-EV2 is a compact variable frequency drive from the MX2-EV2 series, developed for industrial motor control and machine automation applications. It combines advanced motor control, flexible configuration and integrated communication functions in a compact inverter.The drive is designed for three-phase 380–480 V AC power systems. It supports motors rated up to 2.2 kW in constant-torque (CT) operation and 3.0 kW in variable-torque (VT) operation. The rated output current is 5.5 A for constant-torque applications and 6.9 A for variable-torque applications.The MX2-EV2 provides both open-loop V/f control and sensorless vector control, allowing precise motor speed regulation and improved torque performance. It supports induction motors and compatible permanent-magnet motors.The inverter features advanced motion-control functions, including high starting torque, torque control, positioning capabilities, programmable logic functions and integrated brake-control functionality. These features make it suitable for conveyors, pumps, fans, packaging machinery and other industrial automation equipment.For system integration, the drive includes RS-485 communication with Modbus support and a USB programming interface. Optional communication modules provide connectivity through EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS DP, DeviceNet, CompoNet and MECHATROLINK II.The inverter features an IP20 enclosure and does not include an integrated EMC filter. External filtering can be added where required by the installation.Its compact design, flexible motor-control functions and communication capabilities make the Omron MX2-EV2 suitable for both new automation projects and maintenance of existing industrial drive systems.
